Company History
In 1977, Andy Sr. and his wife Rose Ann opened the doors to what has become the most successful flooring retailer in the New England area. Back in 1977, A.J. Rose started as your typical small mom and pop floor covering store, selling only carpet, and working hard day-by-day to grow. It was a typical American small business striving to make it to the next day. Over the last 40-plus years, the company has expanded into every major type of floor covering with three convenient Massachusetts locations in Burlington, Saugus and Natick. A.J. Rose is now proud to say that we are the largest floor covering-only chain in New England.
Recently, A.J. Rose has seen the management shift from Andy Sr. to his two sons, John and A.J. Jr. Many changes have taken place at A.J. Rose in the past few years, including expanding to three stores ranging from 8,000 square feet to 15,000 square feet.
Over the years, A.J. Rose has grown into a significantly larger company, but most importantly it has never lost the sense of comfort and trust you would expect from a family-owned and -operated business. A.J. Rose has the pricing of a large box store, with the service and dependability of a small family-owned business!
